REFLECTING ON THE INTERNATIONAL DAY FOR THE ABOLITION OF SLAVERY

From the transatlantic slave trade to various forms of forced labour, the impact of slavery is deeply rooted in our past. It’s crucial to acknowledge and learn from this history to prevent its repetition.

While significant strides have been made in the fight against slavery, it remains a persistent problem in the modern world. Today, we witness modern forms of slavery, such as human trafficking and forced labour, affecting millions of people globally. It’s disheartening to realize that this issue still exists, but it also fuels our determination to bring about change.
